Update: 2018-07-18 05:30 IST

Hyderabad: Monday's well marked low pressure area over north interior Odisha and its neighbourhood now lies over north Chhattisgarh, with associated cyclonic circulation extending up to 7.6 km above the mean sea level. As a result the rainfall figures fell in the two regions of the State.

A low pressure area is very likely to form over north Bay of Bengal and its neighbourhood around July 21, instead of 19, the Met department bulletin said on Tuesday. The bulletin said the Southwest Monsoon was normal in coastal Andhra Pradesh and weak in Rayalaseema.

Rain occurred at many places in the coastal districts and at isolated places across Rayalaseema.  According to the forecast, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at isolated places in Andhra Pradesh from July 18 to 21.
