West Godavari SP pats girls for scoring in sports

​Eluru: Four girls of Sri Sureshchandra Bahuguna Police English Medium School bagged first prize in under 14 interstate handball competitions held under the auspices of AP School Games Association at Srikalahasti on December 8 and 9.

D Rakhi, M Mary, Jessi Tanmayee and Umamaheswari secured first place. While Rakhi and Jessi were selected for nationals, G Nikita Sri bagged prize in 20 kg category of Kung Fu competitions held at Chilakaluripet on December 9 and 10. District SP M Ravi Prakash appreciated the girls at his office here on Wednesday.
