Hyderabad court issues non-bailable warrant for Digvijay Singh

 The Nampally court on Friday issued non-bailable arrest warrant to Congress leader Digvijay Singh for making a scathing attack on AIMIM chief and MP Asaduddin Owaisi.

The Eighth Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Padmavati who is hearing the plea filed by AIMIM leader SA Hussain Anwar issued the warrant to Singh. Anwar slapped a defamation case against the remarks made by Digvijay Singh in 2016 which said that Owaisi was contesting elections in other states only to make money. 

When the Congress leader failed to appear before the court even after its request, it issued a warrant and posted the matter to January 3.
