YouTube TV viewers get free subscription over bad World Cup webcast

San Francisco [United States]: YouTube wants to compensate its viewers after its live streaming service YouTube TV went down during the World Cup semi-finals.
The company is offering its paid users a free week of subscription to make up for the loss, TechCrunch reported.
Google has sent out emails to its users with the notice about the free subscription.
