Congress fields Padmavathi Reddy as candidate for Huzurnagar by-polls

Hyderabad: The Congress party on Tuesday announced the candidature of Padmavathi Reddy for the ensuing by-election to the Huzurnagar constituency.

Padmavathi Reddy had represented Kodad constituency from 2014-2018 and lost the elections in December 2018 with a small margin. An architect by profession, Padmavathi Reddy is the wife of TPCC President Capt. N. Uttam Kumar Reddy. Her candidature was approved by Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday.
