Hyderabad: Bholakpur Ganesh laddu auctioned for Rs 7.5 L

Gold Laddu of Bholakpur Ganesh has been auctioned for Rs 7.56 lakh on Wednesday a day ahead of the nimarjan.

Sri Siddhi Vinayaka Bhagatsingh Youth Association conducted the auction at Bholakpur and a large crowd of devotees witnessed it. The association arranged the gold laddu of worth Rs 5 lakh along with the Prasad laddu.

Bairu Vishnu Prasad, who is into the fish business owned the laddu. The bidding began with Rs 5001 and ended at Rs 7.56 lakh.

Musheerabad MLA Gopal, TRS youth wing leader Jayasimha, BJP constituency co-convenor Naveen Goud and several others were present.

Last year, Kadaboyina Bhaskar had bid the laddu for Rs 8.1 lakh.
