Over 1200 Ganesh idols immersed in Godavari

Bhadrachalam: Nearly 1200 idols were immersed here in river Godavari at Bhadrachalam said the officials. The immersion programme was started here on 10th day of the Wednesday here in the Godavari. The devotees from across the district and other districts brought a large number of Ganesh idols to the temple town for immersion in River Godavari here. In early hours of the day nearly two hundred idols were immersed here at Godavari said the officers .

The Police, Irrigation, Panchyat and health officers arranged massive arrangements here at Godavari Ghat. Police made special security for the programme. Special two big boats are being arranged for the programme by the Irrigation officers for the programme.

The temple officers have made special arrangements for providing hassle free darshan of the Lord Rama to the devotees.
