Villagers protest over acute water scarcity

Zaheerabad: Villagers of Ranjan staged a sit-in on the highway under the Zaheerabad municipal limits on Monday. Rural SI Vinay Kumar rushed to the spot and tried to convince them but in vain.

He informed the RWS officers about the issue. RWS DE reached the spot and assured them of regular water supply. Speaking on the occasion, villagers said water tankers are being supplied to the rich and not even single drop is provided to the poor.
