VRO lands in ACB net

Mogudampally: VRO Ayub Abdul, who allegedly demanded bribe from a farmer, landed in the ACB net. Ashok Reddy, a farmer from Mannapuram village, had been requesting the VRO to add his name in the beneficiaries of Rythu Bandhu scheme.

The VRO demanded bribe for including the farmer's name in the beneficiaries list. The farmer approached the ACB officials who laid a trap and caught the VRO red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000. Nizamabad range DSP Prasanna Rani, Sangareddy DSP Ravikumar took the VRO into custody. They said people can approach them if anyone demands bribe.
