Warangal: Rich tributes were paid to PV Narasimha Rao, the first Prime Minister of India from the non-Hindi-speaking and southern part of the country, on the occasion of his 98th birth anniversary on Friday.

Leaders cutting across party affiliations remembered the architect of India's reforms. Speaking at the DCC Bhavan here, Greater Warangal Congress Committee president Katla Srinivas Rao described PV as a great economic reformer.
