75 fresh Covid cases reported in Kurnool district
Though the district administration has taken up several measures to prevent the spread of dreaded coronavirus, the number of Covid-19 positive cases has been increasing in the district rapidly
Kurnool: Though the district administration has taken up several measures to prevent the spread of dreaded coronavirus, the number of Covid-19 positive cases has been increasing in the district rapidly.
As many as 75 cases were reported in a span of 24 hours taking the total to 1,306 in the district. Besides rapid registering of corona cases the number of deaths has also gone up to 44 in the district. Of the total number of cases, Kurnool municipality tops with 729 following Adoni with 335, Nandyal 170, Atmakur 22, Yemmiganur 21, Nandikotkur 14, Gudur 6, Dhone 5, Allagadda 2 and Bethamcherla 2.
The number of discharges has outnumbered the positive cases as . 713 persons have been discharged after they are tested negative at two consecutive tests. Presently there are 552 positive cases. According to a report released to media 3,103 samples have been tested on Thursday and among them 75 samples have tested positive.
