Kadapa: Deputy Chief Minister Amzath Basha advised the employees working in Village Secretaries that they should work with more responsibility while dealing with public grievances.

He inaugurated six-day training camp for the newly recruited village and ward secretariat employees here on Monday. He said that despite financial constraints, Chief Minister has taken steps to provide employment to them.

He said staff should show special attention for reducing gap between officials and public and applicants should get solution to their problems without making rounds to the government offices.

While describing Village and Ward Secretariat concept as the brainchild of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Kadapa Municipal Corporation Commissioner Lavanna said that this training programme is most important for employees as they should address problems of the people. Several officers were present at the programme.
