The winter session of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly began on Friday morning on the fifth day. Dairy Development - Partnership with Amul will be discussed in the Assembly today followed by Corona prevention, in hospitals will be debated in the legislative assembly today. Five bills will be debated in the Legislative Council today including Polavaram, TIDCO, Nadu-Nedu in schools.

Meanwhile, soon after the start of the sessions, opposition groups called for a boycott of the assembly. The activities of the house were disrupted by shouting slogans. TDP members did not hear Speaker who asked to cooperate with proceedings, however, the house passed several key bills amid confusion. The ruling party blamed the behavior of members of the opposition. The speaker adjourned the house for 15 minutes following the slogans of TDP MLAs.

Chief Whip Gadikota Srikanth Reddy criticized that valuable time is being wasted every day. He was incensed that the speaker position was being insulted. "It is not appropriate to obstruct the proceedings of the house in this way while discussing every point made by the opposition," Srikanth Reddy added. He alleged that TDP members were looking to disrupt the house by any means just to sling mud on government. He questioned what message was being given to the people of the state.
