Film actor turned politician Manchu Mohan Babu alleged that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had grabbed the Telugu Desam Party from the founder president late N T Rama Rao and betrayed the family members.
Vijayawada: Film actor turned politician Manchu Mohan Babu alleged that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had grabbed the Telugu Desam Party from the founder president late N T Rama Rao and betrayed the family members.
Mohan Babu, who recently joined YSRCP, addressed media conference at the party state office on Saturday. He took strong objection to the comment made by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has no sons and he has no family values.
He said the family members of NT Rama Rao are innocent and Chandrababu Naidu did nothing for them. He recalled Nandamuri Hari Krishna drove the vehicle Chaitanya Ratham of NTR thousands of kilo metres and he had no value in the party.
He alleged that Chief Minister did nothing for the development of the state and was always criticising Jaganmohan Reddy. He said that Chandrababu Naidu is doing propaganda that Jaganmohan Reddy is inexperienced and 31 cases were pending against him. The actor recalled that still some cases are pending against Chandrababu Naidu also and not closed so far.
Mohan Babu said that running a party for 10 years is not an ordinary matter and Jaganmohan Reddy is capable person and he would become the Chief Minister of AP. Replying to a question, he said he did not change the political party.He said, 'I was the member of the TDP when late NT Rama Rao founded the party in 1983 and now I don't have connection with the TDP.
