The Chief Minister's Office has responded to the plight of women who trapped in a rehabilitation centre in Kuwait. The video of the affected women expressing their troubles has gone viral on social media. The CM's office responded to the video. CM Jagan has ordered the DGP to take measures to bring them back to India. Special Director Deepika Patil and West Godavari district SP Navdeep Singh stepped into the field with directions from the DGP and collected the details of the victims from family members.

The police are in talks with Kuwait Embassy and taking steps to liberate the four affected women and bring them back to their homes. Family members of the affected women expressed their gratitude over the CM's office response.

Some women from the Godavari districts travelled to the Gulf countries believing agents on the pretext of employment. The agents who have taken for work are reportedly selling them to Arab sheikhs in the Gulf countries. They are enslaved by grabbing the immigration documents. Some of the victims AP had escaped from the owners and reached the Indian Embassy.
