Collector hands over 4 lakh to kin of flood victim
Collector Mohammad Imtiaz on Friday handed over a cheque of Rs 4 lakh to Singupurapu Simhachalam, wife of Rama Krishna who died during the floods in Krishna district in August.
Vijayawada: Collector Mohammad Imtiaz on Friday handed over a cheque of Rs 4 lakh to Singupurapu Simhachalam, wife of Rama Krishna who died during the floods in Krishna district in August. Rama Krishna hailed from Yakamuru village of Totlavalluru mandal.
Imtiaz handed over the cheque to her along with the local MLA K Anil Kumar. On this occasion, the Collector said that the State government had immediately responded to support the family of Rama Krishna following the orders of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Rama Krishna family thanked the government for the support as they were in deep sorrow with the loss of the family head. Yakamuru village Sarpanch Surendra Reddy, Totlavalluru former MPP K Venkateswara Reddy and others were present.
