Collector Kona Sasidhar inaugurated Kendriya Vidyalayam buildings constructed at a cost of Rs17 crore on Wednesday at Jaggadiguntapalem in Tenali.
Guntur: Collector Kona Sasidhar inaugurated Kendriya Vidyalayam buildings constructed at a cost of Rs17 crore on Wednesday at Jaggadiguntapalem in Tenali. Speaking on this occasion, he urged the parents not to build pressure on children to secure ranks in academics.
He felt that the parents are not aware of the fact that their children are under pressure to achieve their targets. He urged the teachers to teach moral values to the students and ask them to participate in the sports and music. He said based on their interests they will select fields.
He said quality education will be taught in the Kendriya Vidyalayam and said he will send proposals to open additional sections. He instructed the municipal commissioner to provide drainage facility, tree guards and cement benches to Kendriya Vidyalam. Guntur rural SP SV Rajaksekhara Babu, Tenali RDO Cherakuri Rangaiah, municipal commissioner Venkata Krishna were also present.
