Guntur Mirchi Yard resumes operations

Guntur: Asia's biggest Guntur Mirchi Yard resumed operations on Monday. Following instructions of the district collector I Samuel Anand Kumar, the yard officials revived 1-3 of the operations. Full-fledged operations will be restored from June 9-10.

The yard officials have taken all steps to check spread of Covid-19 and implemented the national directives for COVID-19 management, the generic preventive measures and SOP prescribed by the state government for business establishments.

The officials also took steps to maintain social distance on the yard premises. The yard management has also taken steps to purchase chilli stocks from the farmers.
