Kadapa: ‘Children for Children’ is a socially useful programme, conceptualised and implemented by Abhiram Rachamadugu, the grandson of Sandhya founder and president of Vijay Foundation Trust and class 10th student.

He took efforts in uniting all service oriented young hearts worldwide with an aim to help children of Covid-affected families to continue their education.

Scholarships worth Rs 1.40 crore are being distributed to 448 college-going students and 388 school-going children, based on their talent and the family economic status, explained Abhiram.

Aarti Home representatives said that funds are being collected through volunteers to improve the educational standards of children in rural areas using modern scientific methods and establishing Mobile Digital Libraries.

Dr P Sreenivasulu Reddy, Project Director Prabhu Podipireddy, Sunilkanth Rachamadugu, programme coordinator Sankaramma and other staff of Aarti Home and parents attended the scholarship distribution programme here on Tuesday.
