Kakinada: Federation of Andhra Pradesh Teachers Organizations (FAPTO) district president K Subramanyam said that the call to teachers to boycott classes given by FAPTO was a success on Tuesday and Wednesday.

He told the media here on Wednesday that the decision of the stage government to open the schools three days in a week due to Covid-19 was opposed by the FAPTO. He said that officials have instructed the teachers to attend the Bridge Course for clarifying doubts of the students on these days.

He said that the Central government has not yet announced the re-opening of the schools in the country. He said that even the state government has also not announced reopening of the schools officially. In the event of students infected with the deadly coronavirus, who would be responsible for their infection, he questioned.
