MLA Dr M Sudheer Reddy visits site for steel plant in Kadapa
In search of a site for setting up of steel plant, Jammalamadugu MLA Dr M Sudheer Reddy and District Collector Ch Harikiran have inspected lands at Sunnapurallapalle and Peddadunduluru villages in the district on Thursday.
Kadapa: In search of a site for setting up of steel plant, Jammalamadugu MLA Dr M Sudheer Reddy and District Collector Ch Harikiran have inspected lands at Sunnapurallapalle and Peddadunduluru villages in the district on Thursday. Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is scheduled to lay foundation stone for steel plant on December 26.
After inspecting the lands, the MLA addressed media persons and said that Sunnapurallapalle is suitable place for establishment of steel plant as it was situated nearer to Jammalamadugu, Proddaturu towns, and also nearby national high way. He said that adequate water is also available from Mylavaram Reservoir.
District Collector Ch Harikiran said that following the directions of the government administration is sending proposals to land acquisition for establishment of steel plant.
