The new Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Alok Tiwari visited Tirupati railway station on Saturday and inspected various facilities.

Tirupati: The new Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Alok Tiwari visited Tirupati railway station on Saturday and inspected various facilities. He asked the officials to expedite the pending development works without further delay.

The ongoing sixth platform works are to be completed on a fast track basis and Tiruchanur station works need to be completed before December 2019. The DRM went through the dormitories, waiting halls, parcel offices, platforms, VIP lounge and other places. At newly developed VIP lounge Athidhi, he has written in the visitors' book that the retiring rooms need to be maintained much better and to improve water facility.

Earlier, he visited Tiruchanur station and Carriage Repair shop also. Tirupati Station Director S Naragaramana Sarma, Station Manager K Rajendra Prasad and other officials were also with the DRM.
