Nidadavole: Superintendent of Police Navdeep Singh Grewal has said it was the responsibility of all to protect women from attacks and atrocities. Speaking at a seminar on protection of women at women's college here on Tuesday, he said that the district police has been taking special measures for the safety of women.
The Superintendent of Police said that women in distress can call 100 to get help from police within 15 minutes. He also made mention of 112 and 181 numbers wherein the callers can get police help round-the-clock.
He urged women to make use of Cyber Mitra Helpline WhatsApp number 9121211100 to report their complaints regarding harassment through social media. Students of the college were present on the occasion.
