According to locals and police sources, Suresh of Srikakulam district Sarawakota Reilly Street has decided to marry a young woman from the village of Uppenavalasa in Borja Mandalam. The wedding party was held on Wednesday afternoon at the groom's house in Sarawakota as part of the wedding ceremony.

However, an argument ensued between two groups in the dining table when a couple of guests who wanted the chicken curry to be served felt insulted over the delay in service and by remarks of the other group. This led to a small confrontation.

Upon receiving the information, the police went to the spot and brought some people to the station while the relatives of the bride and groom we're also brought to the station. In the meantime, an altercation led to threw stones at one another before the police. As the situation worsened, the police spoke to the two sides and calmed down both sides.
