Former Mayor Abdul Aziz, TDP district spokesperson Anam Venkataramana Reddy, party city president K Srinivasulu Reddy addressed the media and also staged a protest at Ambedkar statue at Venkatagiri Rajah's College in the city on Saturday evening.
They said atrocities of the ruling party leaders have increased after the party came to power and there is no security for opposition leaders and also to officials. Former Mayor Sk Abdul Aziz said that the district administration and Police have to protect the rights of the people.
He said the YSR Congress leaders have been targeting the leaders of TDP and also the officials. Anam Venkataramana Reddy said that they had lodged complaints with the District Collector and the Superintendent of Police against the MLA Sridhar Reddy.
