In a tragic incident, three college students lost their lives as they drown while swimming at Nandigama in Krishna district.
In a tragic incident, three college students lost their lives as they drown while swimming at Nandigama in Krishna district. According to the police, eight students went to a nearby river for swimming at Damuluru village in Nandigama mandal. As the inflow was high, the students swept away with the water force.
The locals who noticed them, rescued five of them and three went missing. Immediately, they informed the police. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took out the bodies with the help of locals.
The deceased identified as P Gopi Reddy (20), S Srinivas Reddy (20), and D Ravindra Reddy (18) belongs to Narasimharao Palem village in Veerullapadu mandal. On the incident, the police registered a case and shifted the bodies to the government hospital for post-mortem.
