Vijayawada: Owaisi appeals to CM Jagan to oppose NRC, CAA
AIMIM president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has appealed to Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy to oppose the CAA, NRC and NPR stating that the CAA will create many problems to the people of all sections of the society.
Vijayawada: AIMIM president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has appealed to Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy to oppose the CAA, NRC and NPR stating that the CAA will create many problems to the people of all sections of the society. He addressed a public meeting organised by The Muslim Muttahida Mahaz (All Minorities Associations Network) at Bhavanipuram.
Addressing a huge gathering, Owaisi said the Union government was violating the Article 14 of the Constitution by enacting law basing on religion. He has demanded that the Centre immediately withdraw CAA and recalled that 19 lakh people were affected due to the NRC in Assam. He termed the NRC, NPR and CAA as black laws and felt the need for the withdrawing of these three laws.
