As many as 22 thatched houses were gutted at Chintapalli village of Pusapatirega mandal in Vizianagaram district on Saturday
Pusapatirega (Vizianagaram) :As many as 22 thatched houses were gutted at Chintapalli village of Pusapatirega mandal in Vizianagaram district on Saturday.
This fire mishap occurred at the coastal village when the locals, mostly fishermen went for fishing and the women went for other works in the village.
Initially fire broke out in the houses of Mylapilli Somaamma and Barri Polamma and it has spread to other houses in the village within few minutes. The fire has gutted 22 thatched houses. On getting information, the locals rushed to the village from their work spot and tried to control the flames and minimide the loss.
Tahsildar P Vijay Bhaskar reached the village along with the staff. He consoled the victims and assured that the government would support them in all aspects.
