Vizianagaram: The Vizianagaram police arrested a school teacher for misbehaving with a girl student who is studying Class 10. As per information, a girl student in Vangara ZP high school in the district was being harassed by science teacher K Ramu. He reportedly used to misbehave with her and even shot some photos with his mobile phone. Later, he showed the photos to the girl and tried to blackmail her to enter into physical relation.
Vexed with his harassment, she finally lodged a complaint through Disha app. Soon after receiving the complaint, police rushed to Vangara and seized Ramu’s mobile phone and recovered the photos and messages from his phone. They registered cases under POCSO Act and IPC 354-A, 386 and IT Act Section 67 and arrested the teacher.
