People may not immediately recollect if they are asked who is Alphonse Putharen. A reference to 'Premam', the monster hit film in Malayalam and Telugu, then everyone becomes attentive.
36-year-old Putharen surprisingly has not taken up any other venture since that Nivin Pauly – Sai Pallavi venture released in 2015. It had 17 debutantes featured and by all standards, was a landmark film.
News from the film circles of Kerala and Tamil Nadu say that Putharen is now ready with the next, a mega budget film starring two top stars like Mammotty and Arun Vijay.
The scripting is in place and the shooting schedules are to be drawn up once the lockdown phase gets relaxed further. From the way it is positioned, the forthcoming film looks like an action thriller, more details of which will be known in the days ahead.
