"NTR garu advised us not to venture into production but as we finalized everything we went ahead. Eventually, the film crashed at the box office and we lost more than Rs 10 lakhs.
Later, when we happened to meet NTR garu, he told us to listen to the advice of elders," said the actress in a TV interview. Further, she added, "Similarly, Shoban Babu garu wanted us to stay back in Chennai as we were well-settled in Madras.
He told me that I can't easily mingle with strangers, but I moved for my career," she added. Talking about her hubby and actor Ramakrishna, she said "Our marriage turned out lucky for him.
He did 16 films in a year and delivered blockbusters like 'Nomu' and 'Pooja'," she points out. However, she had to confine herself to home after marriage.
"I didn't know how to even light a stove as I was a busy actress. However, I resolved to my new role of a home-maker," she adds. "My big wish is to see my son as a popular star."
