Vishnu Manchu to play a cop?

We all know that young actor Vishnu Manchu is doing an action film being directed by Hollywood director Jeffery Chin, but very few know that the scion of Manchu family is reportedly essaying the role of a 'tough cop' in the English movie. "Vishnu is playing a police officer who is on a mission," says a source, close to the family.

Actually, after doing lover boy and comic-centric roles, Vishnu was looking to play a larger-than-life role. "He wanted to expand his action image to suit his well-built physique and this offer came at the right time," the source adds.

He will be romancing Kajal Aggarwal in this multilingual film which will also feature national and international actors. This film is also based on a true-life incidents.

The action film marks the debut of Vishnu's wife Viranica as a producer and it is being produced under Via Mar Entertainment, AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory. On other hand, Vishnu Manchu is betting big on action drama films and web series which are based on real-life stories.

After leading stars Mahesh Babu(Dhookudu), Jr NTR (Temper), and Ram Charan (Dhruva) another new-age Telugu star is donning the khakis.
