Would you like to see a world where the youth face every challenge of life with complete confidence? As, these days the school and college students are under extreme pressure due to the overload of academics and sky-high expectations. This leads to common problems like anxiety, stress and depression and in some unfortunate cases even suicides. These conditions also lead to a drop in performance. As per data available, one student commits suicide every hour in India, which is sad yet preventable.

UnBox is a youth empowerment initiative with this very mission of confidence building. A team of passionate corporate trainers from the Hyderabad Chapter of L&D Global (Learning & Development) has started the initiative in right earnest and aims to uplift spirits, and upscale performance of a vast number of students. The team consists of experienced trainers working in diverse fields of human excellence like leadership, organisation development, psychology, life skills and wellness.

The UnBox team has created a programme to help the students to overcome stress and give optimal performance. The team is reaching out to schools in Hyderabad to organise interactive sessions for the students appearing in board/final exams. From this June onwards, it will be an all the year round programme.

The UnBox programme follows a 360 degrees approach and includes topics like – Overcoming exam stress, Building emotional resilience, Building self-confidence, Handling failure, Managing depression, Awareness of mental health issues and seeking support. The programme also includes sessions for parents and teachers since they are equally influential in the resolving stress issues of students. The programme's methodology is experiential learning with interactive discussions and activities.
