The BJP has announced that a person from backward classes is the next chief minister of Telangana. The BC agenda is to garner the support of more than 50 per cent of the state's population belonging to the backward classes.
In its bid to get the support of the majority of people among the scheduled castes, the BJP is organising the Madiga Viswarupa Sabha to improve its winning chances.
The Prime Minister is likely to announce the saffron party will implement SC categorisation if it comes to power in Telangana.

Dalits in Telangana should be cautious about Congress as well as BRS, Modi
BRS is anti-Dalit. BRS chief wanted to rewrite the constitution. The Congress had defeated BR Ambedkar in the elections. Congress had denied placing the portrait of Ambedkar in the parliament's central hall. It was during the BJP government those two were made possible.

BRS could not protect the interests of the people of Telangana. The BR's governance has let down all sections of the society of Telangana. After the creation of Telangana, the BRS leaders have forgotten all those who fought for Telangana. But, went to meet Congress leadership to thank them.
BRS chief and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao had promised to make a Dalit the first CM of Telangana. But, they were let down.
Dalit Bandhu, three acres of land for Dalits were not implemented.
