2 sanitary supervisors suspended
Medchal District Collector M V Reddy on Thursday suspended sanitary supervisors Jitender and Jagan (Bachupalli) for their failure in discharging duties.
Nizampet: Medchal District Collector M V Reddy on Thursday suspended sanitary supervisors Jitender and Jagan (Bachupalli) for their failure in discharging duties. Both were suspended after residents complained to the district collector that sanitation staff failed to act on their complaints of piling up garbage on roads, irregular supply of drinking water and clogged drains.
Earlier, M V Reddy participated in 'Mana Nagaram' programme which was taken up to ensure city is free from civic issues. As part of the initiative, officials concerned would launch a drive to tour cities for taking immediate remedial action after identifying the various issues. After undertaking inspection in the areas falling under Nizampet civic body, the collector interacted with residents of Nizampet and Bachupalli villages.
