Assistant Professor awarded PhD
R Prasanna, working as an Assistant Professor in Commerce at ABV Government Degree & PG College, Jangaon, has been awarded PhD by Department of Commerce, Osmania University, for her thesis on ‘Female Consumer Behaviour With Reference to Cosmetic Products in GHMC Area.’
Osmania University: R Prasanna, working as an Assistant Professor in Commerce at ABV Government Degree & PG College, Jangaon, has been awarded PhD by Department of Commerce, Osmania University, for her thesis on 'Female Consumer Behaviour With Reference to Cosmetic Products in GHMC Area.' Prasanna did her PhD under the supervision of Prof (Retd) M Sulochana, Osmania University.
During her PhD, she presented several articles in national and international conferences and her articles were published in various national and international journals. She said that the findings of the study on the buying behaviour of female consumers of cosmetic products are useful in understanding the aforesaid needs and preferences of consumers which could make the competitors move closer to them. It would lead to a perfect match between supply and demand of cosmetic products' market, she said.
