BJP leader lauds Patel for liberating Nizam's State
State BJP Executive Committee member Jnanedra Prasad on Thursday described Sardar Patel as a symbol of bringing unity in the country who made sacrifices during the freedom struggle and liberated people from the Nizam’s rule and the terror of the ‘Razakars’.

Speaking after garlanding Patel's statue near Nizampet Crossroads , he recalled Patel's able stint as Union Home Minister earning a good name not only in the country, but also across the world. Prasad said Patel was able to force the Nizam and make him merge his State with the Indian Union and earn 'iron man' title from his admirers.
Among those present on the occasion were assembly constituency co-convener Veerachary, Hydernagar BJP division general secretary Navin Goud, BJYM leaders Naveen, Vivek, Vamsi, Dilip and Sangamesh.
