Corporator Dodla Venkatesh Goud calls for facelift to Ambir tank
Local Corporator Dodla Venkatesh Goud, GHMC AE Subash and Works Inspector Mahadev on Wednesday asked the GHMC engineering wing officials and staff to clean the Ambir Cheruvu (tank) and provide steps up to the water level as women would come to the tank area, to play ‘Bathukamma’ and release flowers in the water body.
Allwyn Colony: Local Corporator Dodla Venkatesh Goud, GHMC AE Subash and Works Inspector Mahadev on Wednesday asked the GHMC engineering wing officials and staff to clean the Ambir Cheruvu (tank) and provide steps up to the water level as women would come to the tank area, to play 'Bathukamma' and release flowers in the water body.
They also urged the staff to arrange all required facilities for the revelers of the festival.Goud and the two officials also asked the engineering staff to clear grass and garbage adjacent to the tank and repair roads by laying sand.
Among those present included Ward Committee Members Chinnolla Srinivas, Area Committee Members Venkatesh, Shoukath Ali, Munna, TRS leaders Shivraj Goud, Jilla Ganesh, Nagabhushanam, Poshetty, Sattoor Shirisha and Padma.
