Saifabad: City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar on Monday visited the Central Crime Station (CCS), Detective Department, Hyderabad, and reviewed the functioning and performance of CCS sleuths along with Additional CP Crimes and SIT Shikha Goel. He reviewed the individual investigating officers' performance in disposal of UI cases and also reviewed the conviction and acquittal rates of their cases.

He instructed them suitably on reduction of pendency of UI cases and also to identify the suitable cases where conviction chances are more and put special efforts to end in conviction. CP also reviewed the performance of women police station and cybercrime police stations and instructed to reduce the pendency of UI cases.

He took stock of the CCTNS work of CCS and issued instructions to monitor the CCTNS work of entire Hyderabad city by CCS and submit a report on weekly basis. He also reviewed ICJS (Interoperable Criminal Justice System) implementation and instructed to conduct a training session on this and implement in to-to.

Later Police Commissioner gave cash award to Special Team – II of CCS for good work done in apprehension of accused person on whom 13 NBWs were pending.
