Osmania University: The student leaders of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) staged protest demanding the state government that the implementation of right to education act and to bring free regulation act, in front of Commissioner and Directorate of School Education on Tuesday.

ABVP GHMC secretary P Sri Hari demanded Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to implement the right to education act if he has commitment. "Private schools are collecting fees in lakhs without following any regulations. The government on the other hand is least bothered about the schools running without permission," he added. He demanded the government to seize such schools.

He criticised the government for not filling at least one teacher post after the formation of Telangana state. He demanded the government to strengthen the education system by filling MEO and DEO posts.

Praveen Reddy, Ayyappa, Sravan Reddy, Anand, Rajesh, Suman, Ramesh, Anitha, Thota Srinu, Ashok, Surender, Mahesh, Beerappa and others were present.
