Hazardous effects of plastic use explained

Hastinapuram: Local corporator Ramavath Padma Naik along with Save Earth Foundation went shop to shop in ZP road on Thursday sensitising them on hazardous effects of using plastic. She called upon people to carry their steel boxes to chicken, mutton or pork shops which would help in reducing plastic usage.

She said paper bags can serve as an alternative. She asked the shopkeepers to not litter waste on the road causing inconvenience to passersby. LB Nagar Circle IV AMHO Mallikarjun Rao, SS Ganesh, Save Earth Foundation CEO Surender, Shankar Jawan, Harish, Uma, Bhaskar and others were present.
