On the concluding day of Ganesh festivities, Patti Kunta and Palle Cheruvu witnessed the immersion proceedings in an enormous way owing to the proximity to various colonies.

Both the civic and police departments made proper arrangements for the immersion. While on the other hand, Mir Alam Tank witnessed less immersion activity comparatively where fewer number of idols turn up for immersion on Thursday. Adequate police arrangements were witnessed at these lakes to facilitate peaceful conclusion of immersion process.

Police was seen quite busy owing to Muharram and Ganesh festival arrangements. Only a day before police had to make arrangements for Muharram festival and on Thursday the police toiled hard for Ganesh Immersions at difference areas, especially at immersion facilities.

In the wake of recent incident of blast at Shivrampally, near Pillar No 280 under PVNR Expressway, wherein one person was died, the Rajendranagar police was put on high alert in the area.

Rajendranagar CI Suresh was seen making arrangements around the immersion sites under the direct supervision of ACP Ashok Chakravarthi. No untoward incident took place in the immersion process.
