Pahadishareef: TS Wakf Board Chairman Mohammed Saleem and Chief Executive Officer Mohammed Qasim, along with revenue department and police officers, on Tuesday inspected the construction works of a ramp at Dargah Baba Sharfuddin, Pahadishareef, and its attached land.

Saleem instructed the officers concerned to speed up the construction of the ramp and complete it as early as possible. Later, they also visited the Wakf land attached to Ashoor Khana Ali Saad and Dargah Hazrat Saif Nawaz Jung located at Mamidipally. Both the institutions have the attached property of 718 acres of land.

Stating that a major portion of the land has been encroached, Saleem said the Board has filed several cases against the encroachers in High Court and Wakf Tribunal and engaged senior counsels to retain the property. They also inspected Khankha Nooria Jamia Ilahia at Bandlaguda under Chandrayangutta which has more than 22 acres of land.

Further, the Wakf Board Chairman instructed the officials to prepare a detailed report on encroachments and take necessary action for eviction of the encroachers. He assured that for removal of illegal encroachment, Wakf Board will take all necessary steps. Chairman said that the Board was taking all steps to incorporate the name of the Wakf institutions in the Revenue records.
