Marri Laxman Reddy Institute of Technology signed an MOU with National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) in New Delhi which is an enterprise of Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India on Wednesday.

Dundigal: Marri Laxman Reddy Institute of Technology signed an MOU with National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) in New Delhi which is an enterprise of Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India on Wednesday.

The agreement happened in the presence of Dr K Srinivas Rao, Principal, MLR Institute of Technology and Dr H Purushotham, Chairman and Managing Director, NRDC, New Delhi.

After the agreement, MOU NRDC shall provide hand holding services through its panel of domain experts and provide advance laboratory facilities through its vast network of labs, all related services for technology transfer including licensing of technologies to and from the entrepreneurs associated with MLRIT.

It shall also provide facilities for skill development and EDP cluster development etc., and also help to marketing environment with African and Latin American countries. NRDC also agreed to provide expert advice to MLRIT for enabling to take decision on filing a patent on their R&D activity.

MLRIT also agrees to give wide publicity of the training modules for mobilizing the trainee's trough advertisements in local media, News papers, and also the institute has to supervise and conduct training program. MLRIT has to maintain the data base of successful trainees and to provide hand hold support to successful trainees who are trained under the incubation program.

On the occasion Secretary MLR institute of Technology, Marri Rajasekhar Reddy appreciated and welcomed the MOU and said that this MOU will surely help students and faculty members to enhance their technical capabilities and also will expertise in international exposure.
