Gajulramaram: The drainage overflow issue at Ushodaya Colony in Gajulramaram, Kukatpally, remains unattended for years. "For the last 3 years, we have been facing frequent drainage overflow in our street. Though GHMC laid the new drainage line way back in 2016, connections were not provided in our streets.

The houses across the road, however, received connections to the line. Ours are still connected to the old line and facing difficulties every day due to drain overflow frequently," said Naresh, a resident of Ushodaya Colony.

"It has been years since this drainage is overflowing in our area. Many complaints are raised but still no action on grievances," said Meena, a resident of a area in Gajulramaram. Due to unattended drain overflow, several health issues are on the rise, he added.
