Vijayawada(NTR district): Andhra Pradesh Village/ Ward Secretariat Women Police Welfare Association elections were held on Wednesday for appointing the State Ad hoc Committee.
During the elections, S Mahalakshmi of Tirupati district was elected as the State president, D Madhu Latha (Guntur district) as State general secretary, D Nalini (Guntur District) as treasurer, Kalpana Mayuri, Mallela Vijayalakshmi and Najma of Nandyal district as working presidents, K Jayashree, K Jaitra Srijareddy (Nandyala district), SK Shahina Begum (Nellore district), M Sivagami (Chittoor district) and J Nandini (Annamayya district) as organising secretaries.
