Man kills his wife, commits suicide in Anantapur district
In an incident, a man has murdered his wife and later committed suicide over not having children.
Anantapur: In an incident, a man has murdered his wife and later committed suicide over not having children. This crime has taken place at Tarakapuram village in Bommanahal Mandal of Anantapur district.
According to the police, Suresh (25), a native of Bidurukontham village in Kanekal Mandal got married to Lalitha (21) of Tarakapuram village nine months ago. The couple lived happily for some time. Recently, Lalitha became sick, and the in-laws harassed her over not having children.
Through the relatives, they got to know that by making the darshan of Vannuruswamy at Kalludevanahalli they can have children. As the temple located closer to Lalitha's parent's house, the couple reached Tarakapuram two days ago.
In this context, a clash broke out between them on Thursday night. Suresh lost his cool and hit on her head with a stone. After the death of Lalitha, Suresh committed suicide by hanging himself to a tree in the outskirts of the village. On the incident, the police have registered a case and investigating further.
