Bengaluru: Karnataka chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa said that the college student activist who raised slogans of Pakistan Zindabad at a rally against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) on Thursday in Bengaluru should not be given bail. Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi was also present at the event and tried to stop the student-activist from saying "Pakistan Zindabad."

BS Yeddiyurappa pointed out that even Amulya's father had also said that he would not protect her.The Karnataka chief Minister said that it has been proved that Amulya has contacts with naxals and should be given proper punishment.

Sometime ago, Amulya had also heckled BJP MP Mahesh Vikram Hegde asking him to sing one-day Matram. A video of the incident went viral.

Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai observed that Amulya Leona comes from a place where naxals have been active for a long time. She has shared a lot of posts on Facebook. We will investigate these angles as well.

Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru,Bhaskar Rao, stated that they were looking at the role of the organisers of the event. He added that that the role of the Hyderabad MP, Asaduddin Owaisi does not figure anywhere as he was also an invitee.
