RSS Chief Urges Vigilance Against Divisive Forces In Upcoming Elections
- In his annual Vijaydashami speech, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat urged the public to remain watchful against divisive elements as India approaches assembly elections in five states and the national polls in 2024.

Mohan Bhagwat, the Chief of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), delivered a significant address on Vijaydashami, during which he called upon the public to remain vigilant against "divisive forces" in the run-up to the assembly elections scheduled for November and the national polls in 2024. Bhagwat stressed the crucial importance of supporting candidates who demonstrate competence and a commitment to serving the nation.
In his annual speech, Bhagwat underlined the need for voters to be cautious and not fall prey to those seeking to create discord and rifts within society. He cautioned that some individuals might resort to inflammatory rhetoric and other manipulative tactics to influence public opinion. He implored the electorate to harness the power of their votes to counter such efforts and select representatives who are best equipped to work in the people's interests.
Highlighting the disruptive nature of certain elements, Bhagwat noted that these elements intentionally disrupt peace within India. He emphasized that fanaticism only begets chaos, which can lead to conflicts on a global scale. Drawing attention to India's increasing prominence on the world stage and its rapid progress across various sectors, Bhagwat specifically mentioned the accolades garnered by India for its exceptional hospitality during the G20 summit of world leaders in New Delhi.
