Hyderabad: In the ongoing police checking, early on Tuesday at Narayanaguda in Hyderabad, the police have seized Rs 60L from a car which has been illegally possessed by three individuals originally hailing from Mumbai. Apart from seizing the cash and car, the trio has also been detained by the police.
It is evident that the police have been carrying out search operations in view of the ominous elections for quite sometime. Approximately Rs 100cr has already been seized by now alone in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. As the elections are nearing, the amount seized everyday is on a rise. It is estimated that approximately Rs 200cr will be seized by the time the elections are concluded.
